💝Happy Valintine's Day💝
Before beginning this second article, I went through some comments on my Facebook page in regard to my first Blog post (Jan 31st) well, ‘Blog’ is no longer the term as I was told, ‘unless you’re a parent’ which I am. So, it has happened, I have crossed over, no longer young and hip, but aged and parenting. I am still laughing about it.
Either way, here I am at 35 and working on a blog, and so far, I am enjoying it. And most happy you have come to the ride.
So, just as it was when I joined Facebook, apparently late in the game, here I commence on the journey of spreading my words, thoughts and opinions all over the internet. What a day and age! For the most part, I never thought I would have enough to keep a bi-weekly (oh it's in writing now) post going, but after some research and googling, I found I great deal I felt I could add my 2cents too. Once again, thanks for coming along.
I suppose the biggest push for me to start this was to gain followers and of course try to get my name out there, not only that, but I also hope to encourage others on their journey to authorship. It has been a long time coming for myself, my first novel “Bloom of the Desert Rose” I spent seven years writing, and then held so tightly to it, I didn’t dare venture forward to publish till two years later.
So much of myself was tied within those pages, taking that first step was really the hardest and most nerve wrecking. But on Boxing Day, 2021 I began my journey with Publisher Austin Macauley, another two years of edits, cover design, acknowledgments and sign offs, May 26th brought forth my story to life.
Now, into 2024 I begin another step with my second novel ‘Sacrifice’ already sent to my publishers for a yay or nay. I continue to work on my fifth novel, and hope you take a look at my ‘novels’ page on my website if you are interested in what else I have written.
2024 will also be the year of the blog, at least to do my best and keep coming back and keep you, my dear readers engaged.
